Hello, everybody<\/em>! Hoje, eu trouxe uma tip<\/em> para a gente simplificar um pouco o ingl\u00eas do dia a dia. \u201cDo\u201d<\/em> e \u201cmake\u201d <\/em>s\u00e3o palavras que, no geral, s\u00e3o traduzidas como \u201cfazer\u201d. Mesmo assim, usamos elas de maneiras diferentes.<\/p>\n

Usamos o \u201cdo<\/em>\u201c quando nos referimos a atividades, deveres ou a\u00e7\u00f5es:<\/p>\n

Nate is <\/em>doing<\/em><\/strong> his homework in the kitchen.<\/em>
\nNate est\u00e1 fazendo<\/strong> sua li\u00e7\u00e3o de casa na cozinha.<\/p>\n

Can you <\/em>do<\/em><\/strong> me a favor?<\/em>
\nPode me fazer<\/strong> um favor?<\/p>\n

What will you<\/em> do<\/em><\/strong> after class?<\/em>
\nO que voc\u00ea ir\u00e1 fazer<\/strong> depois da aula?<\/p>\n

J\u00e1 o \u201cmake<\/em>\u201d se refere a fabricar, criar ou produzir algo:<\/p>\n

My mom <\/em>makes<\/em><\/strong> delicious cookies.<\/em>
\nMinha m\u00e3e faz<\/strong> biscoitos deliciosos.<\/p>\n

I <\/em>made<\/em><\/strong> a presentation on pollution last year.<\/em>
\nEu fiz<\/strong> uma apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o sobre polui\u00e7\u00e3o ano passado.<\/p>\n

Usamos o \u201cmake<\/em>\u201d <\/em>tamb\u00e9m quando nos referimos a sons produzidos por coisas ou pessoas:<\/p>\n

A plane taking off <\/em>makes<\/em><\/strong> a lot of noise.<\/em>
\nUm avi\u00e3o decolando faz<\/strong> muito barulho.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeleza, ent\u00e3o \u201cdo<\/em>\u201d<\/strong> e \u201cmake<\/em>\u201d<\/strong> significam \u201cfazer\u201d em situa\u00e7\u00f5es diferentes. Sim, mas ainda existem outras maneiras de usar essas duas palavras, e n\u00e3o tem nada a ver com \u201cfazer\u201d.<\/p>\n

Do <\/em><\/strong>the dishes.<\/em>
\nLavar a lou\u00e7a.<\/p>\n

Do<\/em><\/strong> the laundry.<\/em> <\/strong>
\nLavar a roupa.<\/p>\n

Do <\/em><\/strong>the vacuuming.<\/em> <\/strong>
\nPassar aspirador.<\/p>\n

Make <\/em><\/strong>money.<\/em><\/em><\/strong>
\nGanhar dinheiro.<\/p>\n

Make<\/em><\/strong> an appointment.<\/em>
\nMarcar um compromisso.<\/p>\n

A dica para voc\u00ea absorver todo esse conte\u00fado e entender cada vez mais quando e como usar essas palavrinhas \u00e9: consuma muito conte\u00fado rico em ingl\u00eas. Escute podcasts, assista a s\u00e9ries e filmes e ou\u00e7a m\u00fasicas.<\/p>\n
