Si bien lo dice el dicho: llegar a tiempo es llegar tarde. As\u00ed que saber qu\u00e9 hora es es de vital importancia para ser puntuales, pero \u00bfc\u00f3mo preguntamos esto? \u00a1Aqu\u00ed te ense\u00f1o!<\/p>\n

Para decir la hora en ingl\u00e9s, vamos a decir it\u2019s<\/em><\/strong>, lo cual quiere decir es la<\/em>, y despu\u00e9s la hora y los minutos. A\u00fan cuando en espa\u00f1ol a veces digamos \u201cson las\u201d, en ingl\u00e9s siempre se dice it\u2019s<\/em><\/strong>, en singular, ya que est\u00e1s diciendo la hora. Ve este ejemplo:\u200d<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s 5 p.m. already? I need to leave!<\/em><\/strong>
\n<\/em>\u00bfYa son las 5 p.m.? \u00a1Necesito irme!<\/p>\n

Ahora, para indicar que es una hora con determinados minutos, se puede decir de varias maneras. La primera de ellas es simplemente el n\u00famero de la hora seguido inmediatamente del n\u00famero de los minutos. Sin embargo, hay dos palabras que nos permiten ser m\u00e1s espec\u00edficos.\u200d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Past<\/em><\/strong>, que significa pasados <\/em>o despu\u00e9s<\/em>. Con esta palabra se dicen primero los minutos y despu\u00e9s la hora. Justo as\u00ed:\u200d<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s 20 past 7 and nobody\u2019s here!<\/em><\/strong>
\n\u00a1<\/em>Son 20 (minutos) despu\u00e9s de las 7 y nadie est\u00e1 aqu\u00ed!<\/p>\n

Y para decir que faltan minutos para alguna hora decimos to<\/em><\/strong>, que quiere decir para<\/em>. De igual manera, decimos primero los minutos. Por ejemplo:<\/p>\n

It\u2019s 10 to 8; you better get ready.<\/em><\/strong>
\n<\/em>Faltan 10 (minutos) para las 8; m\u00e1s vale que te vayas alistando.<\/p>\n
