After a meal in a restaurant with friends, there comes the time to pay the bill. If you’re going to pay, there’s no need to say out loud, “I’m going to pay the bill.”
You can say it like this:

“It’s on me!” → This means that it’s not on them, and you’re going to pay for it. Also, it’s a super common way to say it.
“It’s my treat!” → You’re saying that you’re going to pay for their meal. You’re doing something nice for them.
“I got it!” → When you say that “you got it”, it means that it is yours, your responsibility, your turn, or your honor to pay.

I hope you enjoyed this lesson. If you did, send it to a friend who is also learning English.
See you in the next one!
