In Fluency Talks, all classes follow our exclusive methodology, developed and tested by our team, called the “8/4 methodology.”

Each class starts with an icebreaker (4 minutes of introductions and presentations), followed by 3 blocks of conversation.

Each block consists of a conversation time (8 minutes), followed by feedback time (4 minutes), where you and the teacher will have space to review what was discussed, with necessary corrections, questions, and even tips!

Individual classes last 45 minutes and group classes last 60 minutes. The conversation time depends on the
number of classes available in your contracted package.

When you choose to take your conversation classes at Fluency Talks, you will receive an email within 48 hours with all the necessary information to start your classes! As soon as you receive this information, you can immediately schedule your class. Within the platform, you can schedule your classes as you prefer and as your plan allows.

Yes! We have several teachers within the platform, and to make your choice easier, in each teacher’s profile
you will find an introduction video, a description written by them, and ratings from previous classes.

In addition, each teacher has their attributes, which can help you in your choice.

The attributes are the characteristics and interests of the teacher, such as: “Great for intermediates,” “Grammar king,”
“Geek,” “Experience with exchange programs,” among many others. Each class can be with a different teacher; you get to choose!

The Fluency Talks platform allows teachers to adjust classes based on your preferences
and difficulties so that the teaching becomes increasingly personalized.

Group classes last 60 minutes and can accommodate up to 6 students.

Our teachers are not necessarily native.

We prioritize that our teachers are fluent in both Portuguese and the language you are studying, and that they are trained in our teaching method, so they can help you even in the smallest details of learning, from basic to advanced levels.

All classes in Fluency Talks come with the support of exclusive didactic material, created by our team of teachers.

This material will be available within the platform, and you will be able to access it before, during, and after the class, seeing all the content covered.

Each student will undergo a leveling process to make the most of the classes. But don’t worry, you won’t be evaluated! Based on your conversation, the teacher will indicate your conversation level.

Important: the conversation level is different from the comprehension and knowledge level of the language! To establish the conversation level, a series of factors are taken into account; we will find the best level for you to have the most fun and learn at the same time!
